It's not the shapes that are missing, it's the textures for the BAB roads that's missing from the route you're working on. If the textures are in the route, the road pieces can be used. If not, you get the error message. Bad idea. I'm surprised you only get error messages with the roads and that the entire sim doesn't crash on you.

Re-install the NRv4. Then find the road textures for the Autobahn they should be in the developers pack and install those into the Textures folder of the route you want to install them in.
